Our Story

How it all started...

Apostle Dr. Rebecca A. McKay, envisioned by the outpouring of God’s spirit, a ministry that consisted of many ministries such as
  • Feeding the hungry
  • Housing the homeless
  • Clothing the less fortunate
  • Encouraging those imprisoned, etc., and most importantly, making the truth known to people all over the world.
Starting the Vision
In the winter of 1990, God opened the door in Orlando, FL where Apostle Rebecca A. McKay (back then Pastor), began holding evening services in a small church that a minister allowed her to utilize on Bumby Ave.  Due to circumstances beyond her control, services there were interrupted.  However, the vision was still ALIVE!!
During the beginning of 1991, Apostle Rebecc A. McKay (back then Pastor), was sent back to the city of Tarpon Springs, FL. There she began a Noonday Prayer under the direction of God; pastor and daughter did as the Lord instructed.
Obedience is key
Out of obedience and much travail, the Noonday Prayer Service was fully birthed on June 6, 1991 in the home of the pastor at 415 E Lime Street in Tarpon Spring, FL.
For 2 1/2 months, Apostle Rebecca A. McKay (back then Pastor) and daughter Chenee’ remained faithful to the work God had given and God began to increase the number of people who would come to Noonday Prayer. Soon after a telephone ministry was added to the vision.
Many became faithful and helpful as God was surely blessing. Elder Alphonso and Prophetess Althea McDougal, along with Evangelist Ella Mae Hudson were essential in the building of the Noonday Prayer. Later, a Tuesday night Bible Study began at Evangelist Hudson’s home.
God was bringing the vision into total view.
Because of the increase in numbers, the Lord directed Apostle Rebecca A. McKay to a little building in Tarpon Springs on Harrison Street. As the Lord directed, Apostle Rebecca A. McKay anointed the grounds and claimed this building for services to be held there. On May 13, 1992, Apostle Rebecca A. McKay began holding services at 421 Harrison Street in the Masonic Lodge Building. On July 22, 1992 by Florida State Law, the ministry was officially established, but in the sight of God and by the hand of God it was already established as True Confessions Outreach Ministries, Inc.
Approximately a year later, the congregation relocated to a property with two buildings previously used by a predominately white Baptist congregation. With God’s favor, the owner agreed to a third of what he originally wanted for rent. Within a year’s time, on a Sunday morning a man came in unexpected to announce the property had been sold to their organization and the congregation had to immediately vacate the premises. Shocked and crushed the congregation vacated with nowhere to go. Refusing to be defeated, Apostle Rebecca A. McKay and the congregation set up for worship service in a member’s backyard; the following Sunday. two souls were delivered that day (1994).
Having made arrangements to return to the Masonic Lodge Building, the congregation continued to lift up the name of Jesus.
Breaking Out
Only weeks later, conflicting schedules between the Masons and True Confessions Outreach Ministries, Inc., forced another transition to be made. Praying and seeking God, Apostle Rebecca A. McKay was lead to a little wooden frame church building at the corner of Oakwood Street and Levis Avenue in Tarpon Springs where the congregation stayed until 1997. A radio broadcast began during this time.
From April 1995 through July 1996, Apostle Rebecca A. McKay made her residence in Macon, Georgia to begin a second ministry. During this time, she traveled back and forth from Macon to Tarpon Springs keeping the oversight of the ministry. Due to devastating happenings, Apostle Rebecca A. McKay’s health was attacked and she had to return to Tarpon Springs with her mission not accomplished. Knowing her opposition as a female pastor, her bishop, Apostle Robert L. Williams was always there giving encouraging counsel to keep the vision alive.
The Next Transition
With the Shepard having been smitten and the sheep scattered, the ministry went into dormant state. But just like the caterpillar in its cocoon transforms into a beautiful butterfly and flies high, so now transformation from True Confessions Outreach Ministries, Inc. has been re-established as True Life Testimony Christian Outreach Center, Inc.; the vision continues with Apostles George and Dr. Rebecca A. McKay, III in pastorate together.
You have to confess to have a True Testimony
True Life Testimony Christian Outreach Center, Inc. held its first service in the backyard of Robert and Pamela Johnson (February 1999). The ministry then moved into the conference room at Tarpon Shores Inn, 40346 US Hwy 19 North. Then the ministry resided at Bradley Plaza, 39340 US Hwy 19 North, Tarpon Springs, FL. From Tarpon Shores to Bradley Plaza, from Bradley Plaza to Mile Stretch, from Mile Stretch to Grand Blvd., God’s faithfulness is proven from 7/2003-10/2006. During this time the radio broadcast ministry was resurrected on 5/7/2006 being called “Truth Talk”. Being Instructed by God’s spirit, the course was finished at Grand Blvd and the Apostles and congregation faced a test of faith with no other place in view to conduct services. Being sensitive to God’s voice one of the ministry members, Sis. Ernestine Powell, opened her home for services. After four months of passing the test, God blesses the ministry with a facility that accommodates four times any other previous facility used.
True Life Testimony Christian Outreach Center, Inc. is the headquarters church of Miracles Within Dimensions International Church Association, Inc. (October 1999) which was renamed Miracles Within Dimensions International Kingdom Association, Inc. (2014) with Apostles George and Dr. Rebecca A. McKay, III as Founder/Overseer. True Life Testimony Christian Outreach Center, Inc. established churches in Holiday, Ocala, Clearwater and Tallahassee, FL; Hempstead, NY; Detroit, MI; and Clayton, NC. Today, True Life Testimony Christian Outreach Center, Inc. currently has established ministries in New Port Richey and Tallahassee, FL with ministries continually being added to the association.
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!

Expanding the vision...

As we are feeding and clothing the homeless and those who are in need of assistance, we will be expanding our outreach to include affordable housing, both renting and homeownership.
We believe in the work and that God will provide the increase.

Where we are headed...

Expanding our outreach  to all of Florida and beyond.  Seed planting is the bases of outreach. The more seeds you plant, the more territory you will need to have. Expansion is needed and necessary, and True Life Testimony will do what is necessary for the Kingdom.
